The Early Intervention staff (therapists, educators and social workers) participate as members of small interdisciplinary teams of qualified professionals providing early childhood intervention and family support resources to children birth to three with or at risk for disabilities and their families.
Little Red School House utilizes a parent coaching model empowering and enhancing families in their abilities to support the development of their children. The Early Intervention staff members have specific responsibility for providing discipline specific assessments and evaluations for children who have more complex diagnoses, including, but not limited to children with neurological impairments, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, Autism, various developmental disabilities, and feeding/swallowing disorders.
The staff are also responsible for providing parent coaching within the context of their discipline as well as providing consultation and technical assistance to other team members, community paraprofessionals, and professionals and agencies.
Little Red is always looking for experienced early childhood intervention specialists and educators.
